The Pursuit of “diversity” has destroyed the reputation of UCLA’s medical school. More than 50 percent of UCLA medical students failed standardized tests on emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. Race preferences are illegal under California law. Nevertheless the quota hire dean of admissions insists on the illegal policy.
Though only 5 percent of students fail each test nationally, the rates are much higher at UCLA, having increased tenfold in some subjects under the dean’s admission policy, according to internal data obtained by the Free Beacon.
