Why does the Kremlin invite humiliation?

Why do Putin and Lavrov seek “better relations” with a government that they both have publicly stated intends to destroy Russia.  It is incomprehensible that neither Putin nor Lavrov comprehend that “better relations” will simply mean more NGOs and CIA agents operating in Russia, and more deceptions like the Minsk “agreement” designed to contribute to Russia’s destruction. It is extraordinary that the Russian government cannot understand the evil that faces them.  How can it be that Russia still lusts after Washington’s acceptance?

RT asks where are Russia’s $300 billion in foreign reserves.  They are in the hands of the West where Russia’s totally incompetent, or perhaps treasonous, central bank director left them to be frozen by sanctions.
