Attention Donors

Dear Donors:

When you make a donation, please make a note of it. Many credit card companies do not provide adequate identification of charges on your statement. This failure of credit card companies together with the failure of donors’ memories results in “fraud charges” to IPE that can be as much as 250% of the amount of the intended donation.

IPE does not have the administrative staff to deal with the paperwork associated with forgetful donors. I want to spend my time writing, not with administrative matters.

I sometimes think that I should make this a subscription only website and close it to everyone else. As it is donors that support the site, I put the question to donors: Should I close the site to non-donors? Let me hear from you.
