Drowning In Hypocrisy

The US government is so full of self-righteousness that it has become a caricature of hypocrisy. Leon Panetta, a former congressman who Obama appointed CIA director and now head of the Pentagon, just told the sailors on the USS Enterprise, an aircraft carrier, that the US is maintaining a fleet of 11 aircraft carriers in order to project sea power against Iran and to convince Iran that “it’s better for them to try to deal with us through diplomacy.” http://ap.stripes.com/dynamic/stories/U/US_PANETTA_AIRCRAFT_CARRIER?SITE=DCSAS&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2012-01-21-19-22-34

If it requires 11 aircraft carriers to deal with Iran, how many will Panetta need to project power against Russia and China? But to get on with the main point, Iran has been trying “to deal with us through diplomacy.” The response from Washington has been belligerent threats of military attack, unfounded and irresponsible accusations that Iran is making a nuclear weapon, sanctions and an oil embargo. Washington’s accusations echo Israel’s and are contradicted by Washington’s own intelligence agencies and the International Atomic Energy Agency. Why doesn’t Washington respond to Iran in a civilized manner with diplomacy? Really, which of the two countries is the greatest threat to peace?

Washington sends the FBI to raid the homes of peace activists and puts a grand jury to work to create a case against them for aiding a nebulous enemy by protesting Washington’s wars. The Department of Homeland Security unleashes goon cop thugs to brutalize peaceful Occupy Wall Street demonstrators. Washington fabricates cases against Bradley Manning, Julian Assange, and Tarek Mehanna that negate the First Amendment by equating free speech with terrorism and spying. Chicago mayor and former Obama White House chief-of-staff, Rahm Israel Emanuel, pushes an ordinance that outlaws public protests in the City of Chicago. The list goes on. And in the midst of it all Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other Washington hypocrites accuse Russia and China of stifling dissent.

Washington’s grotesque hypocrisy goes unremarked by the American “media” and in the debates for the Republican presidential nomination. The corrupt Obama “Justice” Department turns a blind eye while goon cop thugs commit gratuitous violence against the citizens who pay the goon cop thugs’ undeserved salaries.

But it is in the War Crimes Arena where Washington shows the greatest hypocrisy. The self-righteous bigots in Washington are forever rounding up heads of weak states whose countries were afflicted by civil wars and sending them off to be tried as war criminals. All the while Washington indiscriminately kills large numbers of civilians in six or more countries, dismissing its own war crimes as “collateral damage.” Washington violates its own law and international law by torturing people.

On January 13, 2012, Carol Rosenberg of McClatchy Newspapers reported that Spanish judge Pablo Rafael Ruz Gutierrez re-launched an investigation into Washington’s torture of prisoners in Guantanamo Prison. The previous day British authorities opened an investigation into CIA renditions of kidnapped persons to Libya for torture.

Rosenberg reports that although the Obama regime has refused to investigate the obvious crimes of the Bush regime, and one might add its own obvious crimes, “other countries are still interested in determining whether Bush-era anti-terror practices violated international law.”

There is no question that Bush/Cheney/Obama have trashed the US Constitution, US statutory law, and international law. But Washington, having overthrown justice, has established that might is right. No foreign government is going to send its forces into the US to drag the war criminals out and place them on trial.

The War Criminal Court at the Hague is reserved for Washington’s show trials. No foreign government is going to pay Washington several hundred millions of dollars to turn Bush, Cheney, Obama and their minions over to them in the way the US bought Milosevic from Serbia in order to create the necessary spectacle at the War Crimes Tribunal to justify Washington’s naked aggression against Serbia.

No government can be perfect, because all governments are composed of humans, especially those humans most attracted by power and profit. Nevertheless, in my lifetime I have witnessed an extraordinary deterioration in the integrity of government in the United States. We have reached the point where nothing that our government says is believable. Not even the unemployment rate, the inflation rate, the GDP growth rate, much less Washington’s reasons for its wars, its police state, and its foreign and domestic policies.

Washington has kept America at war for ten years while millions of Americans lost their jobs and their homes. War and a faltering economy have exploded the national debt, and a looming bankruptcy is being blamed on Social Security and Medicare.

The pursuit of war continues. On January 23 Washington’s servile puppets–the EU member states–did Washington’s bidding and imposed an oil embargo on Iran, despite the pleas of Greece, a member of the EU. Greece’s final ruin will come from the higher oil prices from the embargo, as the Greek government realizes.

The embargo is a reckless act. If the US navy tries to intercept oil tankers carrying Iranian oil, large scale war could break out. This, many believe, is Washington’s aim.

It is easy for an embargo to become a blockade, which is an act of war. Remember how easily the UN Security Council’s “no-fly zone” over Libya was turned by the US and its NATO puppets into a military attack on Libya’s armed forces and population centers supportive of Gaddafi.

As the western “democracies” become increasingly lawless, the mask of law that imperialism wears is stripped away and with it the sheen of morality that has been used to cloak hegemonic ambitions. With Iran surrounded and with two of Washington’s fleets in the Persian Gulf, another war of aggression seems inevitable.

Experts say that an attack on Iran by the US and NATO will disrupt the flow of oil that the world needs. The crazed drive for hegemony is so compelling that Washington and its EU puppets show no hesitation in putting their own struggling economies at risk of sharply rising energy costs.

War abroad and austerity at home is the policy that is being imposed on the western “democracies.”

  3. The public will not be driven to the street by politics and idealology, but by hunger and deprivation. What this means is that in order for a revolution to occur (which will be neccessary at this point) and the needed reforms put into place, things will have to get a lot worse than they are at the present time. Which I predict will be within the next 2 or 3 years.

  4. Every government official you name in this article is actively serving the foreign Israeli Zionist agenda of the banking, war profiteering Rothschild cabal. Our US government (and we are not alone, G8 I’m looking at you) has been completely infiltrated by these murderous Sabattean Frankists thru Wall Street and the giant global corporations that they own. To ask how they can say one thing and do the opposite is to ignore that giant elephant in the room. The Mossad’s motto is “By way of deception, thou shalt make war” for God’s sake! Until we have the courage to name the names and deprive these scumbags of the tools they’ve set up to protect themselves–using the Jewish religion as their shield/the ADL/anti-semitism–and confront them on their actions, we will continue to follow their script–the Protocols–to it’s end: a new world order despotism.

  5. I was tempted to respond when the subject of psychopathy was brought up. I too had problems even at the suggestion of such a premise. The following are qoutes from “Political Ponerology” and the effect of deviants, whatever you want to label them, upon societies. It is relevant to your statements and very, very interesting reading.

The entire life of a society thus affected then becomes subordinated to deviant thought-criteria and permeated by their
specific experiential mode…I shall accept the denomination of pathocracy for a system of government thus created, wherein a small pathological minority takes control over a society of normal people

Pathocracy is a disease of great social movements followed by entire societies, nations, and empires. In the course of human
history, it has affected social, political, and religious movements, as well as the accompanying ideologies, characteristic
for the time and the ethnological conditions, and turned them into caricatures of themselves.

The actions of this phenomenon affect an entire society, starting with the leaders and infiltrating every village, small
town, factory, business, or farm. The pathological social structure gradually covers the entire country, creating a “new class”
within that nation. This privileged class of deviants feels permanently threatened by the “others”, i.e. by the majority of
    normal people.

The non-pathological majority of the country’s population will never stop dreaming of the reinstatement of the normal man’s system in any possible form. This majority will never stop watching other countries, waiting for the opportune moment; its attention and power must therefore be distracted from this purpose, and the masses must be “educated” and
channeled in the direction of imperialist strivings. This goal must be pursued doggedly so that everyone knows what is being
fought for and in whose name harsh discipline and poverty must be endured. The latter factor – creating conditions of poverty
and hardship – effectively limits the possibility of “subversive” activities on the part of the society of normal people.

Whenever a society contains serious social problems, there will also be some group of sensible people striving to improve
the social situation by means of energetic reforms, so as to eliminate the cause of social tension. Others consider it their
duty to bring about a moral rejuvenation of society. Elimination of social injustice and reconstruction of the country’s morals
    and civilization could deprive a pathocracy of any chance to take over. Such reformers and moralists must therefore be consistently neutralized by means of liberal or conservative positions and appropriately suggestive catchwords and paramoralisms;

This book was written long ago by doctors behind the iron curtain, yet presents such an accurate description, and reasons for, the conditions in our country that it had a profound impact on me.

    • Dan,

I read Political Ponerology when it first came out and it really IS an attractive thesis.

My trouble came somewhat later when Laura at SOTT.net started treating it as the Final Answer and when I noticed that one huge similarity between the former USSR and the current declining West is being overlooked by “ponerologists.” In fact ponerology, with its disease theory, might provide cover for a certain would-be elite who are NOT pathological at all, just devious.

On balance I find Political Ponerology similar in effect to Eric Hoffers classic of the 50s, The True Believer. Read side-by-side they reinforce each other AND provide classic manual of arms for would-be cult leaders. Ayn Rand is known to have had a well-thumbed, heavily-notated copy of The True Believer during her tenure as Objectivist Popessa a decade or so later.

      Caveat lector!

      By: Franz . January 25, 2012 . 3:42 pm |

      • I have to agree that the editor/publisher of this book raised “red flag” issues as soon as I began reading. I considered recommending that all disregard the cover and introduction. However, the old adage that “don’t judge a book by its cover” is wise, and I would add neither by its publisher. It is very difficult to be published and reach a large market. While I will not defame her or SOTT, I could have done without her “expertise” so to speak. However I did not disagree with the intro, rather, thought it self defeating if they wanted to reach a large market.

The text is another matter. I found it fascinating. Dr Robert Hare, the world’s leader and researcher into psychopathy declared it highly recommended. Likewise, the text is consistent with the findings and observations of many medical professional and criminologists. I have read extensively on this subject. Yes, I know of the supposed controversies surrounding this, and regard these as more “turf wars” than anything else. Hare’s PCL is/was admissable in US courts, yet the DSM does not contain a diagnosis. Yet I assure you, “law” enforcement agencies worldwide use it as a guideline.

I have personal experience with high level government officials who are more than just “devious” and are in fact “Without Conscience” (one of Hares books). Perhaps that is why I found the book so profound. Likewise Dr. Hare’s and many others. However, none of them deal with the macrosocial issues in this way.

I have recommended this book to many people who I assure you are not cult members, nor am I or anyone I know of, neither will I become one. Having read the book I would surmize that you found it much more cogent than rantings of “illuminati” and “secret societies” etc etc etc etc.

I have not read the book you mentioned so I can not comment. However, Ayn Rand’s use as a manual would not surprize me. If the shoe fits………

Caveat lector, of course! Curious, what is the “caveat” term for those that don’t read and instead continously watch the MSM. Caveat Idiotus?

        • Good one! I’m not sure what the term would be either.

My one concern, having enjoyed Political Ponerology too, is that it will be “mainstreamed” and turned into yet another control system. Instead of drugging hyperactive kids, call them “proto-pathocrats” and put them away?

Never know when that might happen and the history of ideas is sketchy. Winstanley’s pamphlet “New Law of Righteaousness” led to the Digger Rebelion, a good thing in my view even if it failed.

The modern world has been different. Hoffer was miffed because Eisenhower said good things about The True Believer, Ayn Rand was miffed than nobody she cared about said anything about Atlas Shrugged. Co-option works from time to time but letting ideas rot into obscurity is the current regimes way to deal with what it does not like.

Ponerology is new. My guess is it will percolate and not be co-opted. Fox News can’t turn it into a soundbite.

    • The following book “Malignant Self Love – Narcissism Revisited” by Dr. Sam Vaknin explains certain personality types that find success in many organizational cultures to the detriment of many other individuals within those organizations and, often, to the mission of the organization itself. I’ve come to think of them as the psychological version of the overseers on plantations. Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s nest was a perfect example and based on Kesey’s experience working in a mental institution!
John Lennon once said: “Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we’re being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I’m liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That’s what’s insane about it.”
We’re still living in the matrix where the people who tell the truth are the crazy ones and the crazy ones are believed to be sane and truth tellers!
And that is why telling the truth is difficult and that is why the U.S. needs to have its people demand a truth commission.

  6. Something that deeply bothers me is the total lack of understanding about the fractions and animosities amongst the islamic regimes surrounding Israel in the middle east themselves. The political and religious differences between Libya, Egypt, Saudi-Arabia, Syria, Libanon and Iraq and the very special position of Iran is absolutely not understood or ignored on purpose, both by Washington and Tel Aviv/ Jerusalem.

Libya: Secular Gaddafi gives up his atomic weapons program, how do we repay? We topple him, he gets terribly tortured, killed, his corpse paraded. Now, there’re even al quaida cells ruling at least one of the influencial tribes in Libya.

Syria: Assads regime is Alevite. The Alevites are the most liberal muslims in Islam as they managed to interpret and liberalize Islam (they were the major force pressing for kemalism in turkey after the osman empire), they are hated by Sunnis as well as Shiites, but as Alevites in Syria are a distinct minority, they (Assad) consolidated their reign through aligning with the other in contrast very influencial and powerful minority in Islam, Iran (Shiites), and maligning Israel as every dictator facing inner-political hazards of losing power plays on Enemy making and blaming foreign countries to distract.
Yet, we support the sunni opposition in Syria that would most probably bring islamic extremists into power if successful just like in Tunesia and Egypt (Salafists/ muslim brotherhood).

Saudi-Arabia with it’s Wahhabite/ Salafist ideology of Islam HATES Jews and Israel, yet, their fear and hate towards the Shiites (supposed heretics) is even bigger so that they even secretly allowed the IDF to use it’s air-space in an event of an air-attack on the iranian atomic installations. WE support Saudi-Arabia because of their cheap oil and even turn a blind eye and let them export their vicious brand of Islam, building mosques and financing extremists all around Europe (US I’m not sure)

Libanon: (christian demise/ sunni majority now) is in constant fear of the Hizbollah (shiite) starting a civil war and taking over, like Pakistan with their pashtun (Taliban) tribes, they are in a predicament as they only support these hostile elements going against their neighbours (Israel/ Afghanistan respectively) to not be the target themselves.

Egypt: With the rise of the muslim brotherhood making up 70% of the elacorate together with the even more extremist salafists is now – AFTER WE supported the allegedly “arab spring” – possibly the most dangerous regime facing Israel.

Iran: The Persians are an EXCEPTIONAL people in the middle east, no other country down there has such a high rate of highly educated people and academics, only the history starting from ’53 with the US’/UK’s coup against Mossadeq and forcing the opposition into mosques resulting in the ’79 Khomenei Revolution, explains why this sophisticated Nation of Persians could ever have fallen into the hands of Islamic Extremists. We betrayed the Green Movement by keeping up military threat and sanctions therefor undermining the Green Movements credibility among their own people in being suspected of “fifth column” working for the sake of foreigners.

Conclusion: Assumed that Iran is indeed working towards developing a nuclear bomb, the eventual threat of Nuclear Annihilation faced by Israelis, but especially also Turks, Saudis and Iranians (Pakistan, India, Russia are also in the “neighbourhood”…) alike could be a real game changer, a positive impact to get reasonable and focused on reality and even overcome influence of their own religious fanatics, as rulers and the intellectual elites of these countries would have to start talking, dealing and trading with each other in order to eleiminate the eventuality of mutual destruction, total annihilation.

The perceptions of the West, especially Israel/ USA about “mad men” and “religious fanatics” having weapons of massdestruction and this issue of un-reasonability would be the main difference in calculating the risque of such in comparison to China or Russia (India/ Pakistan) is either a false one or a deliberate lie to spin the public into war. In reality, the US interventionist policy in the middle east is attracting animosity and hate on itself of all the mentioned players (except Israel) instead of these Nations having to start dealing with each others perspectives and quarrels seriously.

The US is absorbing all the blame which should be borne and dealt with amongst these Nations themselves.

Israel will simply have to live with the option of nuclear powers in their neighborhood, if Saudi, Egyptian, Turkish and Israeli Diplomacy towards Iran fails.

All the US military saber-rattling and strangling sanctions against Iran SIMPLY MAKE IT WORSE. We thereby let Saudi, Egypt, Turkey and Israel off the hook not having to sort it out by themselves. A war with Iran is unnecessary madness and the outcome of destroying the respecting facilities is highly doubtful, but the product of it would be sure, it would simply strenghten the extremist islamic community around the world and bring about a much worse and dangerous perspectives for the middle-eastern neighbourhood and World as a whole.

Ron Paul is right, The US has to get out of others’ business.

This is a rough draft of thoughts and evaluations of course, and I’m in no way a specialist on these issues, but the mispercptions of the situation with Iran are frightening!

    By: kit_fisto . January 26, 2012 . 8:00 am |

    • Appears to me that we had three larger groupings in the middle east that were at odds with each other:

Sunni with whom the USA has aligned itself because of our oil relationship with Saudi Arabia

Shiite which we oppose in support of the Sunni

Former Soviet client states and socialist regimes that support women’s liberation and more progressive ideas and whom the USA is actively destroying. This includes Iraq, Somalia (not really middle east), Libya and Syria. This appears to be a continuation of the cold war and dovetails nicely into Sunni as well as Israeli aims.

      By: Wayne . January 26, 2012 . 12:40 pm |

      • Right, it’s a complicated mixture of diverse ethnic interests that are not only divided by religious belief but also polical and tribal/ cultural motives. The sunni fractions are also divided as well, think of the special fate of the Kurds for example, or Tajiks and Pashtuns in Afghanistan.

BTW is there ANY shiite or better Iranian member on the record engaging in past al quaida suicide terror attacks? And isn’t it highly thought provoking that the majority of the 9/11 attackers were Saudi?

I recently saw a lecture by Prof Pape from the University of Chicago (Youtube “Dying to win”) analyzing 2000+ suicide attacks committed since the early 80′s until today and it is deeply disturbing how misperceived the so called “war on terror” actually is.

Pape extrapolates from all collected data that nearly all suicide attacks occured in historical periods of occupation and didn’t have at all exclusively religious (islamist) motivation, but tribal and political reasons foremost.

Tamil Tigers in occupied Sri Lanka.
Kurds in occupied Turkish Kurdistan (Turkey).
        Hizbollah in then occupied Lebanon.
Palestinians in occupied Palestine respectively Israel.
        Pashtuns in occupied Afghanistan.
        Sunnis in occupied Iraq.
Saudi/ (Sunni) Al Quaida worldwide after US Bases were implemented in Islams most holy Land -> Saudi Arabia (Gulf War 90/91) – perceived as occupation.
        Chechenia, Kashmir aso

Again it’s deeply disturbing how distorted public opinion about the obnoxious phenomenon of Jihadism/ Suicide Terror and it’s causes and aims are. To consider and validate these instances doesn’t mean I’d whitewash many of the deeply disturbing teachings of Islam, but one has to look at the whole picture, not understanding the cause of the disease will lead only to wrong medication that will worsen it.

        By: kit_fisto . January 27, 2012 . 3:52 am |

        • “And isn’t it highly thought provoking that the majority of the 9/11 attackers were Saudi?”
If you are intelligent enough to present post to this board, you are intelligent enough to do some basic research and discover that 9/11 was a false flag attack and “hijackers” (Saudi or otherwise) did not do 9/11. 9/11 was clearly a Mossad operation and although at this point in time none of us know the details of how it happened, the best guess would be that all 4 planes were electronically hi-jacked by custom made flight plans being installed into the flight computers. With the custom flight plans disabling transponders and other communications with the ground (radios), locking out the “manual” flight button to prevent the pilots from regaining control of their plane, then simply fly the plane into the building by the new GPS coordinates. You may not know this, but as a rule, airline pilots no longer “fly” their planes from one airport to another but rely instead on their flight computer to do it for them. All they have to do is select the flight destination and the flight computer does all the rest including landing the plane at the next airport. If you doubt any of this, simply ask any airline pilot and he or she will tell you the same thing. I have worked in electronic process (automated) control work most of my adult life, and I understand how simple and easy It would have been to install a homing beacon into each of the targeted buildings, electronically hi-jack the planes and fly them into the buildings with pin-point accuracy and precision.

          • We are drowning in hypocrisy and are speading this like a black plague throughout the world. But in terms of hypocrisy the proetsts and violence in Saudi Arabia seem to me to amplify this.

Something that I unable to wrap my head around is the fact the Saudi’s are now finding themselves aligned with Israel in the current conflicts. In light of the above (and below) comments I wonder if this might lead to a major split between numerous puppet governments and their people, thereby leading to unity in opposing western aggression. I would asume that they are much more tired of this insanity than even many of us are. I confess to ignorance of the sectarian religious issues. Thoughts/explanations? I can not see the Saudi people allowing themselves to be aligned with US, UK, and especially Israel?

          • No 9/11-Insidejob crap for me, and no antiSemitic conspiracy BS neither, please. It’s enough conspiracy that PNAC had it’s plans for a vast interventionist foreign policy project in the drawer before and then just abused the public after 9/11. And it’s enough conspiracy in plain view when in 2002 the Bush-Government lied nearly daily to the world public for their preparation to go to war.

Sure their is a lot zionist influence in Washington/ Wallstreet, but there is also J-street not only AIPAC. And imagining I was a Jew, after centuries of pogroms culmulating in the Holocaust against my people, I can understand why certain interest groups are playing on others, and for sure there are a lot of them who are just mistaken and gone astray about it.

  7. It is very refreshing to see a different perspective that is not based on hate and ignorance of my country:Iran. These are difficult days for those of us who love both countries but not their governments. I have my parents and all my relatives still in Iran and worry about the outcome of all these negative posturing by both sides. I was an Obama supporter when he took office. I realy fell for his Persian New year messages and all the good will he supposedly showed to our people. Where is that good will now? Where is his concern about what these sanctions are doing to a proud independent nation that hasn’t started a war with her neighbors for over 200 years. I am all for a new government in Tehran….but it’s not US and EU’s job to mandate our domestic affairs. The new sanctions have hurt and angred Iranian people opposed to being bullied from outsiders. The current US/EU/Isarel policy will bring nothing but death and distruction to a proud nation opposed to Imperialism. A war will oblige people to support the regime and stand up to the bullies. Enough is enough. Hopefully It’s not as bad as I fear it will be.

    • I wish You and Your family all the best, hopefully all turns out good and deescalation takes place, and some day regime-change in Iran precipitated by the brave peaceful resistance fighters of the green movement occurs.

Let’s hope the kind of Rick Santorum Hot-Heads won’t get a chance to bring about havoc. Watching him in last nights debate fearmongering, even lumping together Jihadism and Socialism made me feel sick.

Sure, Rick, the next big War the USA will have to engage in is the perilous Islamic Kaliphate in Communist Venezuelan Kuba………?

Except Dr. Paul all 3 candidates were trying to overtrump each other in who is the biggest warrior on stage without having a clue about the troublesome implifications of sanctions-policy or shall I call it “Isolationism” of other countries that are in the grip of dictators.

I remember Madame Secretary Albrights response all too well when she was asked about around 500.000 Iraqi children that might have died through lack of medical treatment and malnutrition by the sanctions, she said, Quote:

      • Albright was exposed as being a cryto Jew that presented herself as an Episcopalian. When asked about this by a reporter after her appointment as Secretary of State, she said word to the effect, ” I always suspected I was a Jew, but I didn’t know for sure.”

She officially visited Chechnya, which was a strange thing to do, and shortly after that the rebellion against Russia turned very violent, which I believe was the purpose of her visit. It is also my opinion, based upon observations, Kadyrov the supposed Moslem leader of Chechnya is also a crypto Jew.

  9. Hello Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, students and friends of this website:

I think that the main problem of the great majority of American Citizens is that they have a very wrong perception of the US government, of The Democratic Party and of The Republican Party, and of the political-economic system of America. They think that The Democratic Party, Republican Party, Obama, Bush, Newt Gingritch, Mitt Romney and the Oligarchic Zionist Kleptocratic Militarist Imperialist political-economic system of America is really a Workers Democratic Peaceful Republic with equality, wealth and health for the 300 million americans.

However they are a bit aware of how evil Bush, Dick Cheney were, and that Obama has been a “deception”. But American Citizens and voters have not really grasped the real truth that Bush and Obama are very bad evil people. Just like Mitt Romney, Newt Gingritch, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Rahm Emmanuel, Condolezza Rice. And how Bush and his team of neocons blew up the Twin Towers in 9-11. And how Obama *murdered* civilians with unmaned jet-fighter drones in Afhganistan.

And the the real ROOT AND CAUSE of why most US citizens think that America has a Workers Democratic Humanist Republic are none other than CNN in english, CNN en español, FOX news, ABC news, CBS news, NBC news, NOTICIERO UNIVISION, NOTICIAS TELEMUNDO who are all anti-Castro, anti-Hugo Chavez, pro-Israel, pro-rich upper classes, pro-international oligarchic class, pro-rich celebrities like Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez, etc. And all those main 7 zionist oligarchic news networks TV channels use their media power, their air-power to create an illusion that America is a Workers Democratic Equality Republic and give the very false hope, that by paying taxes, working real hard like (2 jobs a day), paying all their bills, and believing unconditionally in both Democrats and Republican Parties, that some day they will get to have the same lifestyle, same economic and living standards of mainstream corporate zionist celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, corrupt sports stars like Alex Rodriguez, etc.

THE GREAT MAJORITY OF PEOPLE OF USA ARE ALL MAGICALLY CONTROLLED BY THOSE 7 MAIN ZIONIST TV NEWS NETWORKS, AND ACCORDING TO GALLUP AND SCIENTIFIC POLLS ONLY ABOUT 5% TO 10% OF THE US POPULATION ARE AWAKEN, WELL-READ, WELL-INFORMED AND HATE DEMOCRATS, REPUBLICANS AND THE 7 ZIONIST TV NEWS NETWORKS OF THE COUNTRY. AND THAT’S WHY WE WON’T SEE A CHANGE IN THE NEAR FUTURE, BECAUSE MOST US CITIZENS FOR MANY REASONS THAT ARE HARD TO EXPLAIN RIGHT NOW, ARE NOT ABLE TO WAKE UP FROM THEIR MIND-CONTROLLED MENTAL STATE !!

    THANKS !!

  12. @Dan – “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” Remember for example Hitler aligning with his arch enemy Stalin in dividing up Poland in ’39. As for the Saudi people, 16 mil, 8 mil foreigners (guestworkers), it’s similar to the situation of the gulf-emirates, these dictatorships/ kingdoms have vast amounts of financial opportunities (oil) to keep their populations content, quite, oppressed. The uprisings in Saudi-Arabia or Bahrein of the Shiite minority, respectively majority, was easily put down by the potent apparatus of the ruling class. All I wanted to point out is the realitiy of these vast differing interests of the many muslim entities down in the middle east while we’re almost been told it to be 1 threatening block of Islamists.

Our intermeddling there for decades and aligning with oppressing regimes – as You rightly suspect – does nothing but make the US (also Israel) a scapegoat for the grievances and abuses in the region.

Egyptians and Libyans revolted against their dictators, yet through aligning with those in the past, we have without knowing nor wanting created the rise of ugly Islamism as like in the Cold War in Eastern Europe, the oppositions found hideouts in Churches and Mosques respectively to built their pockets of resistance. The ’53 coup in Iran forced these into mosques and led to the ’79 revolution, Sadat/ Mubarak in Egypt led to the rise of the Muslim Brothers/ Salafist Extremists (the successor of Binladen, al-Zawahiri is a former egyptian regime-opponent) and the pact between Washington and Riad let to Osama creating Al Quaida.

These are facts. So the claim and knowledge of Dr. Ron Paul about “Blowback” is a fact as well.

There are still today politicians and journalists who really think that by killing the heads of taliban fighters in Pakistan we would approximate victory and peace, while the reality is that we grow the next generations of West-Haters, Jihadists and Suicide Bombers. Again: We’re diverting the anger and divergences these differing interest groups down there have and are absorbing them on us, Israel, the West and especially the USA.

Hypocrisy? Sure, but it has also a lot to do with stupidity, ignorance and blinding greed IMHO.

  13. Another fine article and PCR hits the nail on the head. Washington’s hypocrisy is so blatant and yet so many in America haven’t the intellect nor the education to see through the lies, distortions and propaganda. The process of dumbing down America is so complete that anything the government says is taken as truth. It can even rewrite history just as Winston Smith does, to match the current political agenda of the time.
The government is now holding up four fingers and calling it five. The speakwrite at the Ministry of Truth is busy churning out the latest in propaganda for the next Hateweek. Those who dissent are sent to MiniLove to be made “sane” and some even disappear. Big Brother now has eyes and ears everywhere. All in the land of the Free and Home of the Brave. Remember one of the recent issues of Life magazine entitled ” In the Land of the Free”? when I saw that, I could barely keep from laughing.
    WAR IS PEACE
    FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
    IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH
Orwell is truly rolling in his grave.
    We are the dead.

  14. It is frustrating to observe aware people remain caught up in the delusion that the two party candidates is the only game in town. That game is a sham, a scam, a distraction, a manipulation. It is thoroughly fixed, and, in my opinion, any serious thought, speech or actions that presume to take it seriously is nothing but a contribution to the Scamerican BS.
I have two truly progressive candidates ready and willing to assume the post, and I believe they are sincere and will do the best they can for interests of all concerned. Please consider seriously joining me in voting for and promoting either Jill Stein or Rocky Anderson. You are thinking as the scammers intend you to if you are thinking they are unelectable. They are good candidates not proven puppets. We need a miracle to gain enough support to elect. Fine. Miracles have happened, and we could really use one now.
Don’t allow your vote for the lesser of two evils support his mandate. The PTB will celebrate an Obama victory with as much gusto as they would any one of the Reprivatean crazies. Okay maybe they don’t want Ron Paul as it seems he is his own person with integrity. There is time to build a movement. Will we?

  15. Desertrat:
With all due repect it sounds like you skipped the reading and got your info from the TV, very credible source that. You obviously did not bother to carefully read my post or you misunderstood them. Did you also read the articles recently posted here by Dr. Roberts? From your comment I can assume you could not be bothered. Please do so, the level of sophistication of your argument will improve I assure you. Blindly believing in dogma, ideology and cheap cliche without doing your homework is not helpful in my opinion. That is why I enjoy reading articles here, because they are not ideological, but rather based on evidence.

  16. Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the net the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
